Affordable Accommodation on Muri Beach Rarotonga
Tianas Beach Villas is one of the few accommodations in Rarotonga where your bed is just a few steps back from the beach front. Located on the quiet southern end of Muri Beach, Tianas has two self-contained bungalows and three studio units, each with a kitchen and private veranda overlooking the beach and lagoon.
Tianas holiday accommodation does not have on-site managers nor does it have a reception although the owners visit most days. Rooms are serviced Monday to Friday between 10am and 1pm and laundry is available for guest use. Towels and linen are replaced every second weekday. Beach towels are also provided for guest use.
Beach Front Bungalow
NZ$ 185 per night for 2 people
Our two beach bungalows are situated right on the beach, literally three paces back from the sand. The bungalow has a separate bedroom with a Queen bed, high ceilings and a ceiling fan. The main living area is open plan with a large kitchen with dining table, gas oven cooker, fridge freezer and all cooking utensils. This adjoins the lounge with sofa bed and coffee table with large glass sliding doors with wonderful ocean views. The outstanding feature of the bungalow is the raised private wooden veranda opening out from the lounge and looking directly over the beach and with unobstructed views of the offshore island and lagoon.
This bungalow does not permit children. An additional adult can sleep in the lounge area for $50 per night.

Beach Front Studio Unit
NZ$ 155 per night for 2 people
The three studio units are also located right on Muri Beach and are lightly screened from the beach-front by iron-wood and coconut palm trees. They are studio style rooms with a Queen bed facing the beach front and large sliding glass doors to take in the views, an open plan kitchenette featuring fridge/freezer, oven and microwave and there's a separate bathroom with hot water shower. The studio front has a spacious veranda overlooking the beach.
The Studio rooms sleep a maximum of three people only. An additional single bed can be added for $50 per night.
